“Danielle Wright, as Adaelaide, the mother, made the most of her opportunities, singing well and adding delightfully comic facial expressions to her acting of the role.”

“In “Lohengrin,” where the evil Ortrud persuades her husband to sabotage the upcoming marriage of the opera’s hero and heroine, mezzo-soprano Danielle Wright personified Ortrud’s villainy with pointed projected tones, interacting with Mr. Balzun’s Telramund to convey the insinuating treachery.”

“For it’s final production of the 2018-2019 season, Opera Carolina mounted a handsome, highly satisfying presentation of Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin... The smaller roles were well handled, especially the Filipevna of Danielle Wright...”
